This page provides a general summary of Chery Equipment’s equipment warranty policy. Warranty coverage, pricing, service availability, and other conditions may vary depending on the Equipment, Customer location, and warranty option selected.
The final coverage for each transaction is governed by the applicable quotation, sales agreement, warranty schedule, and manufacturer’s warranty documentation. This page is provided for general informational purposes only and does not create a separate warranty or expand, modify, or replace the terms of a signed agreement.
1. Standard Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable quotation or sales agreement, covered powertrain components are warranted for 12 months or 2,000 operating hours from the date of delivery, whichever occurs first.
Repairing the Equipment or replacing a covered component does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless expressly stated in writing or required by applicable law.
2. Covered Components
The warranty applies only to powertrain components and other parts expressly identified as covered in the applicable quotation, sales agreement, warranty schedule, or manufacturer’s warranty documentation.
A warranty claim is subject to inspection and confirmation that the failure resulted from a covered defect in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period.
Coverage of parts, labor, travel, diagnosis, and on-site service depends on the warranty option selected by the Customer and confirmed in the final quotation or sales agreement.
3. Warranty Options
Customers may select one of the following warranty options, subject to availability, location, pricing, and the terms of the final agreement.
Option 1 – Full Warranty
The Full Warranty includes:
-
Covered replacement parts;
-
Labor required to complete an approved warranty repair;
-
Technician travel; and
-
On-site service during the applicable warranty period.
Full Warranty service is subject to Chery Equipment’s service area, technician availability, scheduling requirements, accessibility of the Equipment, and the exclusions and conditions stated in the final agreement.
For Customers located outside the standard service area, additional travel charges, service limitations, transportation requirements, or alternative repair arrangements may apply. These terms and any additional charges must be stated in the final quotation or sales agreement.
Option 2 – Parts Warranty Only
The Parts Warranty Only option includes approved replacement parts for covered warranty failures.
It does not include:
-
Labor;
-
Diagnosis or inspection costs;
-
Technician travel;
-
On-site service;
-
Equipment transportation; or
-
Removal or installation of replacement parts.
The Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for all diagnosis, inspection, repair, installation, transportation, and maintenance services.
If the Customer requests warranty coverage or reimbursement, no third party may repair, disassemble, modify, or replace parts without Chery Equipment’s prior written authorization, except for reasonable emergency measures necessary to prevent personal injury or further material damage.
4. Service Area
Chery Equipment’s standard on-site service area generally covers locations within approximately a three-hour driving distance from its headquarters in Garden City, New York 11530.
Actual on-site service availability depends on the Customer’s location, technician availability, road and weather conditions, site accessibility, and other operational factors. The approximate three-hour distance is a general service guideline and does not guarantee on-site service at every location within that range.
Customers located outside the standard service area may still purchase Equipment and select an available warranty option at a different price. The applicable warranty option, service arrangement, pricing, travel charges, and geographic limitations will be determined by the parties and stated in the final quotation or sales agreement.
5. Items Not Covered
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable agreement or manufacturer’s warranty documentation, the warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and wear items;
-
Consumables, including filters, fluids, lubricants, bulbs, and similar regularly replaced items;
-
Tires, brake components, batteries, attachments, or other items not expressly identified as covered;
-
Routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and scheduled service;
-
Damage caused by accident, collision, theft, vandalism, fire, flooding, severe weather, or other external events;
-
Misuse, negligence, abuse, overloading, improper operation, or operation by an untrained or unauthorized person;
-
Failure to follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions, safety requirements, or maintenance schedule;
-
Use of improper fuel, fluids, parts, attachments, or accessories;
-
Unauthorized repair, modification, alteration, disassembly, or parts replacement;
-
Additional damage caused by continuing to operate the Equipment after a warning, leak, overheating condition, abnormal noise, fault code, or other indication of a malfunction;
-
Cosmetic conditions that do not materially affect the normal operation of the Equipment; or
-
Downtime, lost profits, lost business, substitute-equipment rental costs, or other indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.
6. Warranty Claim Process
If the Equipment experiences an issue that may be covered under warranty, the Customer must stop operating it if continued use could create a safety risk or cause further damage and complete the Warranty Claim Form below as soon as possible.
The Customer should provide:
-
Equipment make and model;
-
Serial number;
-
Current operating hours;
-
A detailed description of the issue;
-
Fault or error codes, if applicable;
-
Supporting photographs or videos.
The Equipment must be made reasonably available for inspection and diagnosis. Chery Equipment may request additional information or documentation before determining whether the claim is covered.
No third-party repair, disassembly, modification, or parts replacement may be performed without Chery Equipment’s prior written authorization, except for reasonable emergency measures necessary to prevent personal injury or further material damage.
Submission of a warranty claim does not constitute approval of coverage.
7. Warranty Remedies
After inspection and confirmation that a claim is covered, Chery Equipment or the applicable manufacturer may, subject to the selected warranty option and the final agreement:
-
Repair the covered defective component;
-
Replace the covered defective component with a new, rebuilt, or functionally equivalent component;
-
Provide an approved replacement part; or
-
Provide another remedy expressly permitted by the applicable agreement.
Parts replaced under warranty may be required to be returned to Chery Equipment. Unless otherwise stated in the final agreement, the Customer is responsible for protecting and storing the failed parts until Chery Equipment provides return or disposal instructions.
The remedy available under the selected warranty option is the Customer’s exclusive remedy for an approved warranty claim, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Agreement Controls
The Customer’s selected warranty option must be identified in the final quotation or signed sales agreement.
If this page conflicts with an applicable quotation, sales agreement, warranty schedule, or manufacturer’s warranty documentation, the signed agreement and applicable warranty documentation will control.
Statements made by sales representatives, technicians, or other personnel—whether verbally, by text message, or by email—do not expand or modify warranty coverage unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Chery Equipment.
